SIELE Exams
SIELE is the International Service for Spanish Language Assessment, aimed at students and professionals, which digitally certifies Spanish language proficiency levels.
SIELE is promoted by the Cervantes Institute, the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the University of Salamanca and the University of Buenos Aires. These institutions guarantee the standards for quality and good practices in the creation of the tests and the use of diverse linguistic varieties in the Hispanic world.
SIELE certifies the degree of proficiency for the Spanish language with four tests: Reading and listening compregension, Written expression and interaction and Spoken expression and interaction; the exam also takes as a reference the levels established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

DIE Exams
The DIE Exam is issued by FIDESCU (Foundation for the Development of and Research into Spanish Culture) and the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca/Spain.
The DIE (Diploma Internacional de Español) is offered in 10 levels of proficiency from beginner through to advanced, an it is valid internationally.

Oral, written or both
Certificate in approximately a month
Validity of the certificate is lifelong
Specialised Exams
The specialised Spanish Exam is issued by the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid, in collaboration with the University of Alcalá, Spain.
These are the exams offered: Medical Spanish (levels B2 & C1); Spanish for Tourism (levels B2 & C1); Business Spanish (levels B2, C1 & C2).

Assessment of 2-3 levels of specialised Spanish
At time of the year (book it 3 months in advance)
Oral & written exam (no audio)
Certificate in approximately a month
